Want to get involved in the community? Want to start your own club/group/committee?

Start Your Own Community Group!

Do you have a hobby or interest you’d love to share with your neighbors? You now have the power to bring people together and build a more vibrant community! Whether it’s a weekly game night or a monthly outdoor adventure, you are empowered to reach out and gather interest from everyone in our neighborhood.

How It Works:
Member-Led, Not Board-Managed: These groups are created and run entirely by community members like you. This keeps the focus on fun and shared interests rather than formal administration.

Promotion Support:
Once you’re ready to start, a committee leader can help spread the word by posting meeting times on the community calendar and sending out "interest blasts" via email to signed-up group members.

Inspiration:
Check out the Community → Committees page for examples of what’s possible. From Chess, Gardening, and Hiking to Knitting, Cards, and "Moms & Daughters" groups, if you can imagine it, you can start it!

A Note on Costs:
To keep these groups accessible and inclusive, we ask that they remain non-commercial. There should be no "membership fees" or profit involved. Of course, groups may decide to share the cost of basic supplies—like a deck of cards, gardening tools, or yarn—to help keep the activities going.

Ready to start? Anything is possible when we come together. Let’s build something great!
Bob
